Don't get love for Washington

I see a lot of good cappers are on Washington. I completely do not get this. How is it anyone thiinks they are going to score? Beck sucks, they have no running game and their best receiver available is gimpy. Their defense is decent, but SF's is better. Smith takes care of the ball and makes few mistakes. Beck is much more likely to throw INT's... Gore's pounding the ball and will continue to do so.

Obviously, anything CAN happen but I simply do not see how WA is going to score many points. Best bet I think is under, but I see SF winning as well. Tell me why I'm wrong.

I'm with you Kelly. I can't back the Skins. I'm on the under big personally....mostly due to the fact that I think the Skins won't score much.

as a skins fan I lean san fran

but 3 things stick out to me as to why to like Washington

Trip cross country
san fran has won their last 5 games
Redskins have lost their last 3

In the NFL a desperate team always has a great chance to win at home not matter what the talent difference is.

The lack of wide receivers is why I just couldn't take Washington.

I get that it's a public play, probably just because of the records and direction the teams are going. When assessing situations, though, you still have the talent you have. You're telling me WA is suddenly going to wake up and Beck's going to do well against one of the best defenses in the NFL? Torain's going to suddenly run well? Harbaugh is a very good coach. Smith is a solid at not screwing up. Skill players are much better on SF. Yeah, the time change, big deal. To me the talent is so pitiful on WA that I don't see how they are going to score unless it's special teams or they get a couple lucky breaks. On the other hand, I see all kinds of ways SF can score....Anyway, just my thoughts.

I'm going with wash, or may pass. Humiliation is a motivator for men with pride. No way sf can maintain their mental edge as they travel the country covering spreads at every stop. Wash should be in this game late. If skins can run, then they'll win IMO....

i get it..i think you laid it out brilliantly...absolutely logical...

but crazy stuff happens every sunday in the nfl.....if this stuff made sense,,the books would be delivering pizzas...that`s why i`m taking a different tack on handicapping this year........

and believe me,it`s really, really hard betting on some of this crap that passes for nfl caliber teams every weekend... but conventional logic just didn`t work for me...

g.l. this weekend...

Good luck, guys. I hear Helu is starting which should help more than Torain. I'm laying off simply b/c too many good cappers are on them.

I'm taking the under.:toast:

maybe the first 0-0 game. Sarcasm but think under 1st half and under for game are winners.
