Last night one of our girls from the team had a party for her college graduation (MURPH). Me and 1 of my friends went together not being familier with her family other than her mom who has come to our games , I looked at my friend after we walked threw a crowd of people at the eneterance door and said to her "THIS COULD BE INTERESTING"
Here the gang of people out front of the place was looking rather" metalic" to say the least not the type of people you would associate with our friend MURPH who is a very nice young girl. But you never know what kind of family people have :shrug: any way when we got in the door it was a different atmosphere , normal banquet facility DJ,bar,tables done up nice floral arrangements , balloons for the graduate,buffet set up and such. Then MURPH comes up gives us a hug thanks us for coming and goes onto telling us that her party was DOUBLE BOOKED
OUCH............... here they also rented the place to a "heavy metal"band who were at the front door collecting $$$ for enterance and you were given a blue bracelet I assume they didn't ask my friend and I for $$$ because we weren't sporting chains around our necks LOL
at any rate they basically had to kind of split the evening for from what I heard the guy who did the booking was in Vegasor at least thats what they said.........I'd pobably say I was in vegas too..... alls I can say is we got there at about 8:30 on one side of the room was MURPHY'S family including her 90 year old grandparents aunts uncles her whole college softball team+coaches and all of her friends a bit preppy on the other side WELL just imagine..................:Yep: the murphy fam. dj was playing oldies trying to make the best out of a bad cituation,at 10:00 the other dj announced the" take over " My older son would have loved this for his grad. party because he plays the electric guitar and he would have been like YEhhhhhhh! ! ! head banging and all.............. This band started to play at 10:15 UGHHHHHHHH is all I can say......................They sucked I assume the MURPHY familie will be intitled to a full refund to say the least RIGHT?????? I left at 10:30 "THATS HOW BAD " poor kid I hope things didn't get any uglier for her. I had to share this story if you were there you would know why.
CONGRATS to my friend MURPH she will always have a story to tell her kids about her grad party
