Double Digits Home Underdogs in NFL

Double Digit Home Underdogs must be a rarity in the NFL. I know in college they hit fairly often. Anybody have any stats on how they fare in the NFL. Thanks.

since the begining of the 1985 season there have been 104 double digit home dogs in the NFL.......60 covered the spread for a .577 mark

there have been 680 double digit dogs overall and 365 covered the spread for a .537 mark

there have been 576 double digit road dogs and 305 covered the spread for a .530 mark

the moral of this story is......Play double digit dogs.....they are a winning proposition

lets break it down for Monday night just for fun.....

overall 34 double digit dogs on Mon night....15 covered the spread for .441 pct

home double digit dogs on Mon night 6 and 4 covered the spread for .666 pct

away 28 double digit dogs and 11 covered for .392

the moral to this story is stay away from the Monday night double digit dog UNLESS he is playing at HOME.......then........POUND the son of a bitch
