I read that the Master Vampire who turns Dracula into a Vampire is none other than Caligula.

Well, that description is somewhat historically accurate. The Sultan did place a demand for his army that is true.

Vlad himself was a prisoner of the Sultan in his youth. God only knows the tortures he had to bear. Interestingly enough, During an archaeological excavation at Snagov Monastery in the 1930s, Dinu Rosetti, dug up Dracula's tomb, opened the coffin and found..........that it was empty.
