i thought that i would start this thread to get some draft chatter started....

the nfl network is reporting that the jets have a trade for jax. pick at #8 only if a certain player will be there when that pick is on the clock....nobody is speculating who that pick is....i will & think the player is sanchez...

we had a good discussion last year so i hope to see other posters join in...

it's funny that you mention maclin tball because the "experts" on the nfl network were talking about him a few minutes ago....they said that it's hard for teams to get a proper prospective on players who came from programs that played in spread offenses because it's completely different than the way the pros play offense.....but i also think maclin will do well in the nfl as a receiver & a returner...

i only really saw him in maybe two games(as fom boston--only caught TV coverage)--one was vs kansas where little to no defense was being played--and they jus kept going back and forth...mizzou ended up not covering--though it wasnt due to a lack of effort on maclin's part. its easy for col teams to develop go-to guys that look great game in and game out (ie peter warrick for fsu--to name one) but something about this kid...jus liked. he had this easy stride--silky smoooth running style--and he looked really sharp with his cuts-and had GREAT hnads, and knew how to go up for/back to the ball....all in the limited time i saw. time will tell--but i'll be cheering for/keeping an eye on.

their TE (mizzou) ha d agreat set of hands too--cuaght everything thrown to him--big kid

now the nfl network is reporting that the jets are trying to trade up to the rams #2 pick....so i guess nothing is final until it happens..

if werent for a rooting interest--i'd prolly not be there to develop any other interest at all.... i do love football though

checking in from the UK, should be a fun draft, I expect some trades to occur....
