my wife's friend will be visiting us from canada in april & her main request is to see celine dion (why ?) at caesars palace.

so after heavy negotiations , i am forced to go to vegas for the show & will be in vegas from 4/22-4/25....

let me know if anybody will be in vegas during the above dates & would like to meet up for a few drinks on either 4/23 or 4/24 ( i will be able to tell you all about the show).....we will be staying at the monte carlo....

unfortunately i do because my wife doesn't like her also. she says if she has to go she would appreciate if i also went (marital sacfrifice). it's also cheaper if i go to the show because otherwise i would be gambling....& probably lose.what i'll probably do is bring a good book to read....

al, i'm gonna miss you by 2 weeks. i'll be there 5/8 - 5/12.

not just a book, but maybe bring an ipod? or tell your wife to get some 'stones' and tell her friend that neither of you want to spend a ridiculous amount of money to see celine freakin' dion. :shrug: just putting it out there. i could never understand why women do that. whereas a guy would tell his buddy, 'f--k no, i ain't dropping that kind of coin for that show', i think women just enjoy making each other miserable. and they can't say no when their friends do it to them.

this will be my wife's friend's first visit to see us & my wife wants to make it a special occasion for her friend. not only am i being forced to see celine dion, i was also talked into paying for dinner that night at a restaurant at caesars called il mulino.

does anybody know anything about this restaurant ?

i pulled that type of stuff with my first wife....& it cost me.....now i find it's wiser to just go along..lol.
