Odds have been out for at least a month. Not a marquee fight by ANY stretch. It's just a xroads for 2 overhyped non world class fighters. Make no mistake that these guys would get drilled at the top level. I think it's priced about right @-350. Chavez has shown steady improvement and he has grown into his frame and has shown decent punching power. You can't take a whole lot from 1st rd kos except for the fact that the guy carries decent power. The 1st rd ko of Lohoulle was impressive and the win over rowland was workmanlike...and he didn't struggle. Duddy on the other hand has not even come close to living up to his NY Irish hype. I'm hard pressed to find his most impressive win. He looked ok v Vanda but Vanda had him a little buzzed late in the fight. Jr struggled in the 1st go w/Vanda but he pretty much controlled the entire rematch and he was still growing into his frame at the time. Duddy was literally handed a world title opportunity on a silver platter via Arum but he blew an easy win. I think it was Smigit that cut him up and nearly won...then they glossed that over and he loses to Billy Lyle of all people. Was looking forward to cashing in on Duddy getting exposed but didn't think it would happen to Lyle. I haven't been impressed with either guy but I feel that Jr has progressed to a level to where he can at least compete on a higher level. Duddy IMO will always struggle against good c even d level fighters. Jr training with Roach for this one will only enhance his chances of victory. I'm not crazy about -350 but I think I'll put a few bucks on Jr. Any thoughts?

I pretty much agree with everything you said!

Jr to me looks pretty tough! I dont think Duddy can stop him, whereas Jr could get to Duddy late.

Do you know who enjoys "hometown" advantage here?

I don't think San Antonio has had any recent influx of Irish (sans Saul Alvarez' daddy) so I'd say it's a pretty big advant for Jr.
