duke down to 8.5... knew it'd be moving down. i don't think it's gonna go back up. i think i'm gonna be taking the tigers +9. coach purnell knows what he's doing and i think he'll have booker and mays ready and will play a close one just like unc and fsu. if duke does roll then we will all know who the class of the ACC is.

did you read anything? i said i was hoping it'd open at 7 and get down to 5.5 in order to take duke. i can take clemson +9 now, the line's moving down. it's at 8.5 most places and if i'm lucky enough for it to keep going down then great. maybe if it gets to 7 i can take some duke. 9 is too high to take duke for me.

The line is going down, just as you said. I have Duke at -7 on my formula. So anything above 7 and I am taking Clem. Maybe the public money will come in and take it back to 9 , otherwise I'll have to buy the half to get it to 9. That is a lot of points in the ACC.

coach k will have his boys ready to battle. clemson's lookin for revenge after last year's clock issue in cameron. clemson has had two battles and an easy victory so far to start the ACC play. but they've all been home games, and NC State is bottom of the league this year since losing their PG. Duke should control this game from the beginning and should be able to get some drives and draw some fouls on clemson's bigs. i could see Duke win going away unless oglesby somehow is mr. clutch freshman and drops some 3s to keep the tigers in it. either way, duke wins by 10 at home, i think--adding some FTs at the end (AND WE ALL KNOW ABOUT CLEMSON'S FREE THROW SHOOTING! nothing i said was definite, i'm not f'n clairvoyant. like i said... 9 points is too many. i said it should've opened at 7 and i'd like it if it got bet down to 5.5. i never said clemson would get "throttled" i said duke should control the game. but clemson could stay in it if they can hit 3s and booker doesn't in foul trouble.

i flip flopped because of the difference in the line i was looking for and the line that came out. apparently some big bettors in vegas think it's too high, as well. i hope they keep liking it to move it on down some more. i'd love to get a 3-pt middle.

i don't think you can guard the 3s too well against duke, they will get their open shots and will make them. we gotta hope oglesby can be mr. clutch today and shoot like 50% from 3. maybe it's because clemson's made me a bit cynical, but i just see duke finishing this one. that's why i'm lookin for the middle: i won't be heartbroken if duke blows them out and i don't think clemson can close, the defense isn't there.

do you need to? i don't think they win by 15. i think the line should've opened at 7 and that it would get bet down a point. 9 is one less than 10, one f'n point. i mean, this is unpredictable stuff here. i don't like to let 1 point make that big of a difference unless it's around a pick. i decided to go for a middle because i know the line's gonna go down because it's too high. if it goes down far enough i'll get heavy on duke minus the points. if i had marty mcfly's almanac and knew it was going to "10" like i said then i would take the -9. is there anyone here that bets a line because they have the # as off by 1 point?? i gotta have more of an advantage than that. it's not like i'm making this a huge play, the only reason i wanted to talk about it so much is that it's the ACC, right now the 2nd and 3rd best in the ACC and probably at the end of the year too. i graduated from clemson but have always been a duke fan. do you get it now?

doesn't matter now, cuase the line seems to be settling on 8.0 and 8.5 some places ticked it back up 9.0

it'll be on live betting at 8.5 probably so i'll be making a play in the 2nd half.

probably gonna buy back my clemson +9 bet by buying some duke -8 instead of -9 (granted, it ties up all the money for the time being but there's a shot at a win and a push instead of just a win and a loss.
