Man...anyone see the end of the Duke game?

5 sec's left. Duke up by 3. McRoberts throws errant pass right to Clemson guy at 3 pt line. He nails it. 1.8 sec's left....

They put 4.4 seconds on clock. Somehow guy catches it at 3-pt line, shoots it and it goes in....IN 0.6 SECONDS!!!

Duke uses 4.4 seconds...instead of about 2.5 seconds to go down court and score.

Man, Coach K is biggest cheat in history.

Yup, there is nothing like it in sports......the mystique about how Coach K sucks the dick of every referee in America.

I hate to tell Coach K, but his mouth is gonna get awful raw trying to make even the Sweet 16 with this crew of losers.

I'm confused... I saw the game and didn't notice anything odd with the time. Where do you insist that Coach K cheated?

I can understand putting time back. But it went from 1.8 to 4.4.

The guy took the ball out with 5.0 seconds. Threw it to Clemson guy who shot and made "3". I am sure that more than 0.6 seconds went off as he caught ball, set feet, and ball traveled to and thru the basket.
What a fuking joke Duke is. Cheaters.

duke has a bad team this year.. no go to guy and just not a good shooting team.. i will be betting against them heavily in the tourney.. i hope some how they get a #2/3 seed, they could lose first round.. refs wont let them, but they are not good... i said that after i watched them play their first acc game..

duke is so terrible this year it is unbelievable

coack K should just bench that paulas for the rest of the year, what a waste

but the clock was at 4.4 when the ball went through the bucket, and the time keeper let it run all the way to 1.8, so when they reviewed it they got it right and reset the clock

at least thats what i saw, but hell i had the duke ML so take that with a grain of salt lol

That was one of the most blatant examples of cheating I have ever seen in sports.

Coach K walked up to the scorers table and flashed 3 fingers, and that's what he got.

The NCAA says a tip in takes a minimum of 0.3 seconds. That's for a freaking TIP IN.

Duke inbounds the ball at 5 secs. The clemson player steals it, LOOKS DOWN AND SPOTS, and shoots. That means the ball traveled 20 feet in .3 seconds, or about 68mph to the basket. He took about a second to spot and shoot, and the ball traveled for a second. It should have been around 3.

Don't call me homer here since I'm a carolina fan. That was one of the most absurd things I've ever seen.

This is the coachs fault. If I were him and they took only .6 away I would have thrown a ****ing tantrum before I let that ball be thrown in.

Second to that is how bad Clemson's defense was on that. In the end it's their own fault.

13 days till carolina wipes the floor with those worthless pussies, and I get to watch those losers cry.

then the refs honestly should be fired if that is true Army.. if they honestly waited till it went through the net, the play will be reviewed by the NCAA and those guys will be canned.. i didnt see it, was Ollie Purnell going insane about the time??

Coach K is Coach K because he can evaluate talent. He gets shooters and players and guys who leave it on the floor game after game. I'm not a chalk guy or a Duke guy but you guys who cry about Duke, should stop betting with your clouded hearts.

bryanz, be whatever you want, if you cant admit that duke gets 3-4 calls GIVEN to them every game, you need to watch their games more closely.. Coach K is a damn good coach and has a good eye for talent but my god the calls they get, just INSANE... no other team in the country gets that "extra player" for their side..

.... but if clemson cant stop duke from getting a layup going the length of the floor in a few seconds, perhaps they dont deserve to win.

horrid defense in the final seconds.

One person mentioned betting.

The rest is more a discussion of the more-than-normal home advantage duke is given.

Coach K sure can recruit for talent. The kind that fizzles out after a few years of college and leads to no pro career.

It sucks to bitch, but don't say "if you can't get it done, look in the mirror".

In general....if refs want you to lose, you can stare at that mirror for hours...theres nothing you can do about it. You can not touch a guy and they call a foul on you. You can't win.

I agree that games should be called fair with margin of error and you should play hard and deal with little things.

But when great coach and great team beat you by using extra help from refs....you are helpless.

I had Duke -6 and also had Clemson ML on a parlay. Parlay wouldn't have hit anyway, but I wanted OT.

That said, I know bs basketball when I see it.

I think they must have gone back and added time from 2 plays ago. If that is the case, then they should review whole game and add seconds here and there.

Game was at 5 seconds and they didn't add any time. At that point, guy catches it and shoots the "3" and hits it. If that only takes .6 seconds, then K is biggest cheat in history, which he is.
