These two teams couldn't have played any differently in their first round NIT games respectively. Duke struggled offensively and gave BU way too many buckets by overplaying defensively. No question the Terriers played an outstanding game to keep it relativley close. The Pirates were lights out defensively and blew Manhattan away holding the Jaspers in the neighborhood of 27% shooting.

I would expect these two events to even out more favoring the Blue Devils here. Sheldon should control Whitney. JJ won't be 0-3 from 3 land and expect some pop from Martynis Pociius off the bench. He didn't play Mon.. he was in the dog house, but should be out. If the Hall tries to run this game will get out of hand, but with the "tourney ball".. think this one stays inside the number.

SH +21.5

Well, I couldn't have been any more wrong on that play, but that was an awesome display of hoops!! The Devils looked like a completely different team tonight vs. Mon. and that Pocius.. wow.

DeMarcus' throw down in the first half was best dunk I've ever seen live. If you haven't seen it.. like JJ said afterward, it was SICK!

I dont really "admire" any coaches. You also have the question of what is the criteria - John Cheney can coach but is a scumbag.

Despite his flaws, I always will think highly of Bobby Knight. He coaches and his kids graduate. People dont understand how far he has taken Texas Tech from where they were. People who worship Coach K dont know the whole story.

I think alot of Lute Olsen and Gary Williams, yet at the same time they have been underachievers when the chips are down. Romar has obviously done an incredible job. Billy Gillespie is up and coming.

Football? Who can say? Carroll has scoreboard but that team would be wearing the jewelry with me coaching. Cant stand Spurrier, but is there a more incredible turnaround than what he has done at South Carolina? Maybe Weiss, but hard to judge him as a head coach on almost one season.
