DUKE/WAKE FOREST Under 155.5 - Sure, both of these teams are capable of lighting up the scoreboard on any given night, but this total looks to be inflated to me because of this perception. In fact, the Under is actually 9-8 in all Duke games this season that have had a posted total, and the average total score of all their games is 140.8 points, about 15 points below this posted total. One of the reasons for this Under success is that the Blue Devils are allowing only 61.6 points per game, a feat that looks even more remarkable when you consider their ACC competition. Also, Duke has shown this season that they are just as comfortable in a half-court set as they are when running the court. Granted, all Wake Forest conference games are averaging a hefty 160.3 points, but that figure is greatly skewed by their multiple overtime 119-114 victory at North Carolina in their ACC opener in December. Since that contest, Demon Deacons conference games have averaged 152.2 points, which would be good enough to stay under this fat total.
