I really hate Duke but how can you possibly back Butler in this one with everything they have going against them?
Butlers biggest players are 6'8.....Hayward who has been lights out so far will be guarded by Singler I imagine, and Singler is also 6'8.
Duke has the Plumlee brothers who are 6'10 and Zoubek who is 7'1. Duke is going to dominate the boards in this game.
As much as I want to see Butler win for the cinderella story, they just have way too much going against them.
Butler did not make a single field goal for about 12 of the last 15 minutes in the game last weekend.
If you go in droughts like that against Duke, they will burry you.
Butler does not hold a single advantage in this game besides the home court which really is pretty neutral. Duke is plenty used to being the bad guy.
And when it comes to calls from the refs, who do you think is going to get the calls? The legendary Coach K or the 33 or 34 year old coach from Butler?
If Duke doesn't win this game by double digits, I'd be incredibly surprised.
