Took a little time off and jumped back into the game yesterday. I couldnt pick a winner in a 1 horse race...I was about to go take a nap and I decided I would try my friends game in ..I believe the 7th race...at Hollywood yesterday. I scanned over the horses and went with the 10 horse as the winner I then through in the 1 and the 7. Bet a straight 10-1-7 trifecta and it came in......paying 1178.00 on a 2$ bet. Ill never understand this game, but i sure love it. You can look at a program until your blue in the face and lose all day, then you can throw some numbers out at random and hit the biggest trifecta you have hit in 2 years...Dumb luck

In all honesty, I looked at the program after the race and I wouldnt have played the 1 or the 7.. I didnt even look at the horses names until after I sent my bet in to ODS (TVG). Proof positive that lightning can strike the same person more than once. 3 years ago in a span of six weeks I hit a 955.00 trifecta (i hada 1.00 the 2.00 paid twice that!) by playing my wifes birthday, I was having a real crummy day and was throwing in the towel. Then several weeks later I keyed 2 horses for 1st/2nd and let my wife pick the 3rd place horse. She scanned the program and picked a horse because it had "Dance" in the name and she was a dance major. When I bet the horse it was 40-1, As the race finished and I saw I had won, I looked over at the tote and the horse had went of at 99-1, the tri paid 860+ dollars. The 99-1 shot had not hit the board in 13 career starts. So not once not twice but three times in 3 years have i tripped and fell in it....
BTW anyone who was on here a few weeks ago might remember me talking about a friend of mine who was primarily a numbers player, and that he had one several thousand dollars over the last few weeks (he is a 2.00 bettor, 10.00 max!) Well last Tuesday or Wednesday he hit a pick 3 at Churchill Downs in races 7-9...It paid over 6,000 dollars and he got half and to top that off in the first leg of it a horse got disqualified and bumped his horse into first! To make matters worse he called me right aftr the race to tell me and to let me know that in the next race that he had a tip on the 2 horse and also that there were 12 horses ( sometimes I play a 12-2-6 tri box as it is my sons birthdate) He offered to lay my bets I declined and told him I was taking a break because I was cold on the horses. The 2 won the race....The 12 ran second and the 6 ran third ....the 2 payed 94.00 to win and the tri ..well....it paid something like 30 grand or something unGodly ..I didnt look at the results too hard because it made me sick! But my buddy laid 10 to win on the 2 so at least he made out! Sorry for the longwindedness its late and im bored.
Good Luck!
