Pulls his starter too early...did the same thing with Schmidt. Ortiz always puts a runner or two on base...still had not allowed run. Maybe Dusty doesn't realize that his middle relief is horrid and only has two effective relievers, Nen and Rodriguez. The calls to Fultz and Aybar have been absolutely assinine.

My guess is Tim Worell still pitch @ 8th, Scott Eyre will face lefty.
If someone's on base, then Nen will be on.....

99% of the time I disagree with all you guys that rip managers, but today I'm in agreement.

Why bring in a LHP to face Lockhart when you know someone will come off the bench to hit for him? I'd rather have Giles or De Rosa swinging the back in that situation, and that's exactly what Baker forced when he made the switch.

It's one thing to take Ortiz out -- he couldn't locate anything, but atleast go with you're best reliever and keep a favorable matchup. Probably Rodriguez versus Lockhart.

As for Cox, someone was ripping him in another thread but everything he did tonight worked out and atleast put his guys in situations to succeed. Excecution was another story, but all his pinch hitters and yanking Millwood early worked out favorably, to my suprise, I must admit.
