Like the Fishermen in this spot as the pitching match-up is in their favor. Price is right as well.
PITCHING: Jason Vargas of the Mariners has a fine overall ERA(3.15) and he has pitched even better his last 3 outings(3-0 2.84era) allowing 6 runs & only 12 hits in his last 19 innings. The Yankees Javier Vazquez on the other hand has been getting roughed up. In his last 3 starts he has given up 14 runs & 19 hits(0-2 7.25ERA). Also, the Yankees are just 3-6 in his home starts this year. Not the pitcher he once was(4.90ERA overall).
HITTING: One need only to look @ last night's line score: Seattle 6 runs & 12 hits------New York 0 runs & 4 hits.
Not betting the "Farm" on Seattle today but I am playing them rather LARGE. They are playing good ball as of late(8-4 last 12 games) & are a bit younger with no pressure on 'em at all. Quick turn around for an ageing Yankees ball club that will be without A-Rod today. Like my chances to "Double" my $$$$!!!
