pittsburgh -3(half pt buy).....just a gut feeling... squeelers lost their best "o" lineman...but,`da raida`s lost 2 starting linebackers....has to hurt their new 3-4 defense......steeler "o" has more continuity.....and the raiders sucked on the road last year(ats and straight up)...warren sapp ain`t all that.....anymore..imo...l


ravens/browns under 37...

.looks like a very favorable number.....don`t see my ravens lighting it up....even vs cleveland`s run "d"....and i expect the brownies to pound suggs and green down the ravens` throats after seeing tennessee and eddie george muscle up on the ravens in the playoffs last year...and suggs is a ? as of this writing.....and i really doubt that the ravens force ogden to play with a sprained knee...my guess is he sits this week......

37 is much higher than i expected....that scares me a bit...

leans...but probably only that...detroit+3....jags+3(maybe a teaser there....the bills started fast last year but i think adding milloy late in the pre-season helped them gameplan)........i wish this was mid-season...i`d definitely play it in that case...this jags team is gonna get better as the year progresses...

for right now,i can`t pull the trigger on the leans...

curious to see other opinions...

like the steelers and jags. also, really like saints ml +126. seahawks are everyone's preseason darling, but if brooks can keep from turning the damn ball over, saints win this one. i guess that may be a big if, given his history, but i am willing to roll with he and the deuce. :yup

I think you're right about the totals being inflated...there are some very strange numbers out there imo.

However, the problem with the Balt/Brownies line is that Baltimore nearly scored 37 on their own in both games last year!!
If Ogden doesn't play it will hurt their running game, but Boller has actually looked alright in pre-season....Balt gained more yards than their opp in each of the 4 NFLX games...and out-passed Atl, Det and NYG...(None of which are exactly Balty D I know!!)

i also like pitts.i read someplace that west coast teams don't do well when traveling east to play an early game.oakland is west coast team playing an eastern team at 1pm which means 10 am on west coast time.

i also like the under in the balt. game, but decided to hook it under in a teaser with the buff. under.

hit the "under" teaser with jags/bills...titans/dolphs....and ravens/brownies...

pushed on the damned squeelers and their ridiculous pass defense...

4-0 with a push...i`ll take it....

nice job on the under. holy shit was it hot down there. at halftime, when it was 3-0 and both teams had first downs you could count on one hand, i thought "what the hell am i sitting here for". garcia was terrible in the first half, then played a great 2nd half. both defenses played well. btw- your pregame thoughts echoed mine, i thought 37 seemed ridiculously high for these 2 teams and thats why i only played it as a normal play and didnt get carried away. but that was a textbook under. nice job

your boys put it on us.... no excuses....i saw a lot more "want to" on the cleveland side....and your special teams just domoinated the ravens`....we couldn`t get out of the hole...

i think we now know how important ogden is to this offense...ditto mike flynn...

did i tell you that ethan brooks was a stiff?....lol....and i`m being kind....

every team will bring the safety's up to the line to stop the ravens running,so will not go into the playoffs unless they are able to throw the ball downfield.

i thought the jets & pitts would be better than everybody thought, but cleveland could be the surprise team this year now that they have a qb whio can lead a team.
