early look at turkey day double d's

my 2 early thoughts:

liking the double d's

detriot + 7 1/2
simply detriot always play tough on thanksgiven at home! and has been covering at home against the pack! gb on the road and in a dome? i'm looking at the lions to roar! over 46 1/2 may the play also!

dallas -3
dallas is just playing better! miami looks very average! dallas will be fired up to show they are for real, esp.. in front of a national audience!!! under 36 1/2 looks very tempting!

so my early thoughts:

det +7 1/2 and the over!
dallas -3 and under 36 1/2

I would be careful of taking the over in the Packer game the Pack has become a running team and the Lions have been terrible on offense. Harrington has regressed similar to Brees. Watched the game last week and Harrington was way off on his throws. The only time he does anything is when a team is in prevent. Good luck on your plays agree with you on Dallas with Miami having a short week and then they had to play on Sunday night. Unreal scheduling. The Miami offensive line is terrible the Dallas Defense should dominate.

dan, when we disagree that is usually bad for me. but i will not take the cowbells with fiedler back. he is avg, but mia looks better with him. think carter will make mistakes against a sec that is better than caro. like ricky williams better than stephen davis as well. do not love mia, but am not sold on cowboys yet. call me stubborn, but i think the boys will have trouble.:shrug:

........Ok first off, I am a bit bias being a Phin Fan...although....Miami not only has Fiedler back (never thought I'd be happy about that!) ....but also Oronde Gadsden is also re-signed and active.......he can be a very dangerous short yardage receiver......I see a field goal game here myself...just not sure who will get the last one!....

I'm passing on the Detroit Pack game but

I really like both of your plays on Dallas.

I think the side and the total are right on. I think that this game will be very low scoring and Dallas will come out on top by 4-6 points. My prediction is the exact same score as the buffalo game.

Even so I think Dallas will be totally pumped and out to prove something Big time. if ricky can get going and Quincy makes mistakes it will be a long day for Dallas.

agree with you on harrington. to quote, you say "The only time he does anything is when a team is in prevent."

couple of things.

1)i think the pack jumps on them early, 21- ?? by haltime. thus, putting them in the prevent second half.
2) the packs pass d a lot of the time resembles a prevent d. they give up 215 yards a game, 21st in the NFL.

Factor in short week with tired defenders and i smell a fairly easy over. One other thing, if my memory serves me right, wasn't detroit down big late last year on turkey day, only to come back and post some fairly big offensive numbers. they may have even won??

was wondering where gasdsen was...i watched him last year, and for the life of me, i couldnt imagine why miami let hime go...liking the phins even more now

well i hit detroit, farve kinda screwed up my over and the game had to many scoring possibilties blown? oh well!
so i'm down big on dallas -3, and hooked them up with the under!
i also took miss -19 and hooked them up with the under 59
