Early Plays/Leans/Discussion

Had a good Saturday went 6-2 which was immediately followed by a bad Sunday...I jumped on a few that stood out to me...

Wiscy -6.5

-Purdue has a bad defense and I think Wiscy is on a roll and this team could be a 1-2 loss team by season end...I believe they cover the 6.5...

Mich -13.5

-I like this one under the 2 TDs...Iowa's not going to bounce back after a loss to Indiana playing on the road to either the best or second best team in the country...this Mich team makes me nervous as a OSU fan...this year could really be their year...I'll save that discussion for later...Mich's D is too good for Iowa plus I think we'll see an Indiana loss hangover...

Rutgers +6.5

-I could be getting in front of a train with how good Palko and Pitt has been playing but I just like this Rutgers team...I could see Rutgers in a potential upset...

GT +7.5

-This will be a great game to watch...I just think the final score will be a lot closer than a TD...

My leans for this week but first I want to see what the forum thinks...

Texas -7
I still like TEX even on the road the 7 could be a little high but TEX has gotten better with each week...

Louisville -17
-Just not sure on this one...could use some help...

Bama +11
-I kind like Bama getting the double digits...

Could use some help on the leans...I want to see what some of you think...

Be weary of Texas. First real road game for the freshman. Of first 7 games - 5 at home - 2 at a neutral site. Nebraska matches up well. Texas wins by 3 or 4.

Alabama matches up well and plays Tennessee well traditionally. Also, i love the fact that Tennessee rarely closes the deal with authority at home.

I think Bama could cover, but there are better games this week that than game. Bama is bad as shown by close games to Duke and Ole Miss. I would sit this game out, especially with UT at home.

Ya we'll see - this time of the year can be tough. I like weeks 1-5 much better.
