FIRST LET ME GET MY STATS OUT OF THE WAY;

MY MAJOR PLAYS ARE 6-3=FOR 66.6%---I PROMISED PEOPLE OF MJ'S 75% BY BOWL SEASON, FOR THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW- I PICK ONE OR TWO GAMES A WEEK THATS IT!

I HATE TO PUT UP PHRASES LIKE GAME OF A LIFETIME-BUT THIS GAME LITERALLY JUMPED UP AND GRABBED ME BY THE THROAT AND THREW ME ON MY OFFICE FLOOR AND KICKED ME IN THE HEAD. I AM PUTTING UP THE MOST I CAN WITH MY LOCAL-HUGE AMOUNTS ON MY 3 OFFSHORES--THIS WILL BE MY LARGEST WAGER SINCE THE '93 SUPER BOWL WHEN I CASHED ON THE SIDE, TOTAL, AND PARLYED THE TWO AND TOOK A 6 MONTH SAILING VACATION IN THE BAHAMAS...

I LOVE MISSISSIPPI STATE -4(-HUGE-BIG-LARGE-SUPERSIZED WAGER)
:) :D

no disrespect but very curious Y U like miss st so much

they had completely even stats with vandy and covered by skin of teeth to go 1-4 ats this year

UAB has memphis # and game was even on stats too ...

memphis has beaten Ole miss and arky st easily, lost on TOs and flukes at Smiss

while sherrill has been gorged at tulane and houston, and dissected at home by lsu and oregon--their Defense is just horrible (35 a game) and isnt joe lee dunn memphis DC? (thats memory i could be wrong)

are some players back for miss st?

ok, not knocking your pick, hell it might win by 21, just wanted to see what was floating around in your logic?

thanx

THE QB FOR MEMPHIS IS OVERRATED. HE NEVER LOOKS OFF HIS PRIMARY RECEIVER. THE TIGERS STRUGGLE AT RUSHING UNLESS IT IS A DRAW PLAY. THE OFF IS UNSETTLED AND HAS NO IDENTITY. I AM NOT SAYING HUGE ON MISS ST. BUT I WOULD NOT BET THE TIGERS TO COVER ANOTHER GAME. OLE MISS SUCKS ON DEF, AND ARK ST. IS AN INFERIOR SCHOOL THAT DOES NOT BELONG IN DIV 1. I HAVE BEEN TO THE GAMES.

There will be some U.B. info for sure--stay tuned---also might be adding one other large play, just waiting to see if the line moves the next day or two

Hoops-I sail alone in a 44 foot C&C-in case you were wondering-docked in Deerfield Beach Fla-and you were saying......:) :D

...gotta agree with Joe De here. Memphis may very well lose every single conf usa game that they play for the rest of this season, but they could also go undefeated against the sec...and that's motivation for some of these kids that were turned down at the bigger sec schools and wound up at memphis.

Memphis always gets up for their games vs Miss and Miss St. Throw in the fact that Joe Lee Dunn (one of the best DC's in the business) is going back home to show jackie sherrill, the AD and Miss St. fans that they shouldn't have abandoned him.... He knows the players at Miss St. much better than the coaches at Miss St know the Memphis players.... ;)

Public perception is down on Memphis because they lost to a sorry uab team at home, but methinks that they (including Joe Lee) were looking ahead to this game. Miss St hasn't impressed me at all this year.... Neither has Memphis for that matter, but Miss St has Auburn coming up next week and this could be a nice spot for Memphis.

Miss St has a problem defending the pass....so, if memphis will open up their play book a little and stretch the field, they might open up their running game a little and then comes one of the few things that winprine does well...the play action pass...or should i say the play action bomb? They might very well pull off the upset. I'm already down on the tigers +5 and looking at playing the ML.

Please take into account that I'm a Memphis grad and may be slightly biased, but I hope Joe Lee Dunn goes back home this weekend and shoves a cowbell up Sherrill's arse!!! :D

...no disrespect to your pick, worm. just playing devil's advocate. good luck this weekend. ;)

....I don't post here often, although I have read this sight extensively over the past 3 years and I truly do appreciate all the info that I have gotten from you guys. I agree that Memphis gets up for there SEC games because we have been shunned by the SEC for years and years now.

I attended the game last weekend...Memphis did not stretch the field one time during the horrific loss to a weak UAB team. It was all draw plays and short 5 - 7 yard passes the entire game.

....Joe L.'s defensive calls scared me also in that Memphis shut down 1st and 2nd downs on UAB, but continued to play a soft zone on third downs....which allowed UAB to convert almost everytime (soft zones are nice IF YOU CAN GET A PASS RUSH!!)

......I would be careful of the MS State play, reason being that Memphis historically gets very fired up for its SEC schedule.

.....I would lean toward Memphis here because Joe L. will want to make a point to his old boss that he made a mistake......emotion will be a large part in this game for Memphis......

SOMEWHERE AROUND THE S.E.C.
miss state has twice the talent but menphis has twice the coach and joe lee has revenge big time on his mind.

have not finished capping the game and am very undecided on this game at the this time

no disrespect intended. does anyone respect my comments at all. i have watched this team play. the off line is young and not that good. if you must bet the game fine. all i am saying is that there are other games that are better. memphis is completely unpredictable. they look different every week. personally, i think jl is overrated. besides, you have to have athletes to be a success. memphis has 1 or 2 players at def tackle that are 300 plus. memphis is a small team on both sides of the ball compared to the sec schools. miss st is always bigger than memphis. and they usually win.

WORM, this is your biggest bet since 1993, and one of your biggest bets in your lifetime, but you can't even give a "small" write-up?

Pt1gard politely asked for your reasons (since your betting so much on this game) and he even gave useful information and you completely ignore him. You have time to post all about how big this bet is for you and your record, but can't even give useful information on why your betting so much on this game???? Makes no sense especially knowing it would help others out. Maybe you do not want to take the time to tell everyone why your taking Miss. St. for so much or maybe you feel just posting your pick is worthy enough. I don't know but i do know 2 things. You have an impressive record despite selecting such limited games and nobody should bet huge on this game without knowing why they are betting it. You fail to provide useful information.

All in all, i wish you good luck and hope you win your bet.

Scott4usc--as most all people who follow the worm know, I never give write-ups--just winners---I will be at 75% winners picking one or two games a week as I was last season in Pro and College basketball as well as 2002 foots-my record speaks for itself and as far as "limited picks"--If there is only one game worth smashing -thats what I do-and i give it to you!

Also, I have several players who play my picks and normally play $100 on their games-with my picks they go $1000-if a player was doing that at my present 6-3-you would be up $2700-it would be hard to be down any money overall if the rest of your plays were a $100--you would have to be 27 games under.500!

so all in all the worm wins $$$$ for all--and loves doing it:) :D

Thats great Worm and glad your having a great year. I do look for your plays and glad you post your record. I appreciate that.

I am just curious to why you are against giving a write-up? Don't like to type? I am not expecting a detailed one that may take you long time to write, but maybe a real general view on why you like this team/game so much. You basically only choose 1 game a week, so should not take you more than 5min. to do basic write-up.

Good luck this weekend!
