Here are my early thoughts!!!
ORlando---San Antonio-------Last year these 2 teams played twice and both times they both scored in the 100's-----However the total this year is only 193.5----THis draws a Question?? SHouldn't it be at least 200.. Especially the way Orlando has been scoring and the way San Antonio has been shooting from 3... Well I always have thought San Antonio plays great "D" with the twin towers in there to Alter some shots!! And since Orlando went to 2 O.T.--This might just be a half-court game!!! My early lean is towards the under--especiall if i can get it at 196---Being a T>V game---both teams might come out a little tight and cold---this causing the game to go under!!!! THere will be many Double-teams in this game--The question is can they knock down the open-look---I also am leaning towards Orlando +7--THis is way too many pts. to an Orlando team that features top 5 players in NBa--(Mcgrady)--and Grant Hill's ankle seems to be okay!!!
2nd game---Houston--Denver----I believe that Houston matches up real well with Denver and traditionally---Denver does not play well on the road!! My early lean is that HOuston might run away with this one!!! THis may be my strongest play of the Day!!!
3rd game---Indiana--Philly--this is a game in which you have Philly on one hand playing pretty bad(struggling to score pts...)--and on the other you have Indiana(playing great)--and having a lot of success shooting the ball!!! My early lean is towards Philly +4 but it will be real hard to pull the trigger on them since Pacers look good and are playing as a team!!! However, Brown knows that for his team to have a chance--they want to slow this game down and limit Indiana's shot's to keep them from getting warmed up!! This game features 2 prescence's in the middle with O"neal and Mutumbo------THe under might be a solid-play---
4th game---Phoenix-Memphis game over203.5---the bottom line in this game is that both teams like to run and shoot the Ball!!! Battier is no stranger to running(playing with Duke)--Jason Williams--we all no he is a street-ball player... Phoenix personell brings some street-ball open court players also--with Penny--Marion--Marbury--THis game has many mismatches--so i expect to see a lot of scoring and FOuling---and many 3's being jacked up!!!
5th game--------Everyone loves Portland--ANd WHy not!! THey have a lot of Talent--and sooner or later they are going to start to gel and put some complete games together!!!!!!! These are my early looks... BUt i will feel out these games by watching the lines move and i'm going to 5 locals to see what the General Consensus is around here!!! I like to go opposite of the public--BUt some games LIke Portland---might have to stick with
