Pushed my only play yesterday....
Posted this in my thread yesterday when Betonline put up Akron as a one point fav vs USC I played USC +1 for 3 units. Here is a very brief summary as to why I played this game for 3 units.
I really know very little about USC but this is strictly a play against Akron. Their best player is suspended and likely won't be back for his entire senior season. Treadwell was the heart and soul of this team and a double/double machine on most nights. His motor never shut down and the team fed off of his energy, So we have a team with a freshman pt guard starting and even though Akron has a couple other bigs, they will be very weak in the paint on both ends of the floor. Akron will live and die by the 3 ball all season long and may be just a .500 ball club for the first time in at least a decade.
This line has moved to USC -2 and yes I would probably still play it at this number. Akron has to show me that they can play without (IMO) the best player in the MAC before I'll be willing to back them anytime soon. This may be the best value I will get all season.
