Saturday-philly(Wolf)@METS(Glavine)
Glavine and Wolf are both coming off of a couple iffy starts, but they both pitched well in a match-up back on June 2nd (a 5-3 win for Philly, at home, in 10 innings -- no Hidalgo, but line-ups were otherwise intact).
Jim Reynolds was behind HP in that one.
Speaking of umpires, what caught my eye for this one is that John Hirschbeck's turn in the rotation should be happening Saturday...and they don't come more pitcher-friendly than Johnny H (his last was the Tigers 2-0 win over the Twins - J.Johnson@Santana).
Not to mention the friendly confines of Shea (Glavine w/2.42 era & 0.97 whip there thus far), I'll be waiting to see what the opening # is (hoping for an 8...8.5 probably too much to ask).
At -110--maybe even a +100 at the outset--and I'll certainly take a shot of the under.
May rewards bring closure to your risks.
