there are 4 teams i think will have alot of early value and will be much improved from last year. the bulls- played very well the last 20 last year and some of there kids started to play like men add williams who reminds me of nate archabald i think they win 28-32 games. memphis- i thought they would win more last year but injuries and bad breaks made it another bad year. but this gooden kid is the real deal and exactly what this talented young team needs- they have scorers they are athletic and now have alot of size. houston fransis and mobley and now some size upfront with this chinese monster. if francis can stay in the line up they can hang with most. and last but not least- atlanta look what they did in the draft and there starting line-up with the weak east they should make a run at the play-offs.

A FEW QUALITY TEAMS THAT I THINK WILL COME OUT STRONG. the nets- i love this team and what they did in the off season and boy are they playing well in the pre-season. THE WOLVES- they come out very strong every year i see this season not changing.trent has lost weight and woods has gained weight and playing much more physica. i also think the bucks will come out of the gate strong-robinson was a cancer and allen says he dedicating his game on both sides of the ball.

Got to agree with you on what I have seen from the Hawks. Ratliff being healthy is the real key. The Hawks never had the forward scorer and that put too much pressure on the big guard to score alot. Demar Johnson not playing due to a broken neck in car accident really stunned the Hawks. He was ready to come on this year. This team surprises and makes it to the playoffs and maybe beyond.

With a second unit of Dickau, Glover, Ham, Henderson, and Mohammed, that Hawks team isn't likely to lose a lot of ground when the starters are getting a rest. Glover & Henderson can score a little, and that's all they should need with Ham and Mohammed on the defensive end for a minutes at a stretch. If Ratliff can stay out of the trainer's room, this team is going to be tough to deal with, even though I have no idea who the starting 2 guard is (Ira Newble?). Apparently, he's a good defender, which is what they need in the starting 5 considering the scorers already assembled - Terry, Robinson, Rahim. Hopefully, the early lines will be based on last year's records until the public catches up.

On the flip side of that coin, I think I'm going to fade the Pistons early on. Rip is good, but he shouldn't be able to score in a brand new system the way that Stack could last year. Apparently, Cliff Robinson has been moved to the bench to allow Rebraca to get some experience starting at center. I understand the defensive potential of this team, but with a starting front-court of Rebraca, Wallace, and Curry, all of the scoring is going to have to come from the guards and that makes this team easy to defend, in my opinion. Still, as division champs, they will probably be overvalued in the lines at the beginning of the season.

i agree the unders in detroit games are lines that i will be looking at- newby will be the 2 guard, or very shortly into the season ithink we will see dikau at that position-but the way they run there offence there guards play at both anyway.
