East Carolina

Anyone else love East Carolina this week? I've been super busy so if stuff has already been posted...I only quickly glanced at several threads...

I'll be at the East Carolina game and they aren't very good. I watched them play UNC. Both teams were terrible but Carolina had several suspensions and lost their RB (6 carries for 90+ yards) on a helmet to helmet block and were never the same.

Yet, ECU is favored by 7 over a team that just beat #13 Virginia Tech. I think Vegas is predicting the same thing I am....huge letdown for ODU on the road after shocking VaTech as a 28-point underdog.

I THINK ECU WILL BE READY TO PLAY FOOTBALL AS WHERE THE HOKIES THOUGHT THEY COULD JUST GET OFF THE BUS AND WIN...IF FUENTES WOULD HAVE HAD THE BALLS TO PULL THE STARTERS AND PLAY 3RD STRING AKA THE HAMBURGER SQUAD, THEY WOULD HAVE PROBABLY WON AS THOSE KIDS WOULD HAVE PLAYED WITH HEART....HATS OFF TO ODU FOR MAKING PLAYS TOO BECAUSE THEY DID....I LIKE ECU BUT DONT LOVE IT.....GL MY MAN!!!

Thanks Buddy!! Totally agree and I think all of that combined w a letdown by ODU...an on the road...I think ECU wins...might put half on the ML and half on the line...can't wait for the tailgating to begin!!

I've got family in Kinston and will drive to them, then we all drive out to the tailgate, find tickets (very cheap) and head into the game. Go Pirates!!! Arrrrggg!!!

I REMEMBER BACK IN THE 80's ECU THREW A HELLUVA HALLOWEEN PARTY WHICH LIKE MOST THINGS IN THE 80s GOT TOO BIG AND TOO OUT OF CONTROL...SHOULD BE SOME NICE SCENERY RUNNING AROUND...HAVE FUN :toast:

Yep! Some cute little redneck girls!

We went to Tennessee/WVirginia a few weeks ago....lemme tell you...Tennessee girls fucking brought it big time!! I wanna go to a TN home game soon!!

I ended up throwing 75 on the game....half on the moneyline...Go Pirates!! Might go to NC State game next week...they're playing at noon today and I thought about doing a double header but decided against it.

Went to 5 ECU games last year and paid a total of $10 to get in. Hoping to get in free again today!!

After the 1st quarter I was really wishing I had taken the Over.

Had a blast but lost the side, at least got the moneyline.

Never saw replay but I thought ODU got screwed out of an INT late that would have sealed it for them. Also, last play of the game looked like it might have been fumble returned by ECU for TD...I think they called it an incomplete pass and game over. I thought I had lucked into a win lol

ECU was up and in field goal range and gave up a really bad INT that basically turned into a TD...really turned the game. I'll take it though, the moneyline win really saved me some $...I also had ECU ML on a parlay that I won.

Oh, and I got in the game for $5. There were 4 of us and we quickly bought 2 tix for $10 each...someone yelled, you need tix? And gave us 2 free ones...so we each paid $5 and went in and watched relatively good seats.
