Thanks DJV. May the risen Jesus bless your house with a bounty of multi-colored eggs to find.

Was the glass 1/2 empty for these Easter Churchgoers ? I'd say 7/8 full. It's the least the American People can do for the war effort. Current leadership and blind loyalist talk about supporting the Troops, but most Americans have done nothing to support the war effort by Our Brave Fellow Americans on the ground in Iraq and their Families here at home. I wounder if the glass was 1/2 empty or full, for the 4 Americans who spent their last Easter Sunday on earth alive in Iraq . I wounder if the people that loved them, think the glass is 1/2 ______?

I Believe all of troops there are volunteers- Mr B

Thoughtabout putting the 100's of protestors arrested on anniversary last year--but it's old hat

--one thing to be protestor --another to be violent.

Maybe we can have odds on protestors arrested at conventions again this year--believe 04 tally was thousands of libs (throwing marbles under horses--and and having gun reisde to throw off bomb sniffing dogs)vs handful of conservatives--we have post here with tabulations. Might be under- party of hate thread--not sure :)

Yes they are volunteers but that doesn't make it right or American, the way they are being used. When you volunteer, you assume that ledership would value your life, I believe this volunteer force was mislead and that's being generous. I don't have a problem with protesters being arrested if the break the law. I think anyone who breaks a law should be arrested, including Presidents on down the line. Justice for all and fair punishment is the American way. Not always the case though.

Why so anti protest ? I find it puzzling that so many loyalist never question the governments use of our patriots in war but question every protest. The use of our military to defend our interest and the right of the people to protest go hand in hand. What do you suggest ? No protest in America ? Do you want to go Tiananmen Square on all protesters at the conventions? What we are doing in Iraq : in some cases going house to house looking for people against a government. That's not what our militay should be doing. It's Un-American. We should have never invaded Iraq, we should have never put our military in this postion, there is no American way to justify what this President has ordered against the People of Iraq. If a foreign military was going house to house in Syracuse, I would defend myself. We are trying to bring democracy to a Country with tactics that are Un-American. We are trying to sustain something that can only be sustained by force. It would be like a foreign force trying to "liberate" America during Our Civil War. This volunteer force didn't sign up to execute one of the most Un-American wars in Our Country's history. If we could elect American Presidents for the next 20 yrs that would sustain this war in Iraq. What could we win ? What would it cost us ? What are we doing ? Someone needs to help me see the big picture. I don't get it. What are the American People going to win by this effort ? There are no answers to these questions that make sense.
