hello to all my old mj friends. had a busy year down here in eastern carolina with not much time to post, but have remained a regular lurker. since i haven't made much in the way of contributions this season i thought i would stop by and pitch a play on tonight's espn college game.
c fla +5: pirates have historically been underperformers on the road, no way do they deserve to be five point road favs tonight. ecu will be without their starting tb tonight, and have been plagued by injuries and lack of depth at wr. while pinckney has some talent at qb, his inconsistency under pressure has pushed coach skip holtz to experiment with a two qb rotation of late. also, pirates have suffered a rash of injuries and suspensions on defense which should help the offensively challenged golden knights.
there's really not that much of a talent differential between these two teams to justify this line. ecu's status was unduely inflated by early season wins over va tech and w va, but they have been pretty mediocre since. while c fla has been beat up playing a tough road schedule, they are undefeated at home in c-usa play.
