Ed Belfour and Ville Peltonen were arrested early Monday morning in Miami.
The pair were at a bar in ritzy South Beach, when security guards at the bar summoned police to get Belfour to leave the premises. Belfour refused the police request and walked up to the police officer and pushed him, according to reports. Belfour was charged with disorderly intoxication and resisting an officer without violence. Peltonen was arrested when he broke a pole off a fire truck and charged with criminal mischief. Belfour was arrested in Dallas in the year 2000, pleading guilty to resisting arrest. He was fined $3,000 and put on two years probation for that incident. It could be more this time.
