The white flag was waived about a two weeks ago... They tried to do a deal right to the end, and could'nt get it done. They got 3 first round picks, by this time into the deadline that was probably the best they could do. Don't forget, he's unrestricted, they could have waited till the summer and got nothing for him. He can go anywhere he wants to sign next year...local boy could still be back next season. Would I have liked to see him signed, yes, but I would have hated to see him go for nothing.
Hard to say... the OIL don't have a great record when it comes to these retirement night things this year. Is there anyone good left on PHX who can pot some goals??:mj07: They got beat pretty good last night, I would still go with the OIL tonight...pretty steep price though:shrug:
