I'm wondering how many of the 53 actually knew about this and who's call it was.. My guess is Brady and BB obviously, maybe a few skill position guys.

This can't be a good feeling in that locker room right now. Some of the guys are probably thinking what now?

If we win it's because we cheated. If we lose then it's because we didn't cheat.

Seattle is coming into this game with house money, a few injuries but they don't have to deal with this national shit storm.

I really liked pats at PK but I have a feeling Seattle rolls Pats now mainly due to player's mindsets.

Thoughts?

You don't seriously think the Pats are following all this media crap in a dead week leading up to the Superbowl? It will be the most watched Superbowl of all time. This just adds to it, BONUS for the media and the NFL. Wow, it will be a great game.

They have focus on one thing...winning it all. That is what Belichick has always been genius at...focus. Even against a bad team, like Indy.

Not saying they will win, but jeez...don't picture them sitting in their practice facilities down in the dumps. :mj07:

P.S. Sorry if this post comes off as arrogant. Not meant at you. I just think that the Superbowl is so big that no one is going to get caught up in silliness as the huge day approaches. Who will be remembered will be the winner and if it is Belichick and Brady, they will enter the realm of legend. :0008

Yeah there's no doubt I could be totally wrong, just throwing the thought out there

Absolutely a great question! Much more to the point than all the "Patriots should be taken out of the Superbowl" goofiness. :0corn

This is major ammunition for Bill Belichick. Will be used as a motivation factor for sure. "Everyone thinks we win because we cheat, nobody respects us, we haven't won anything since spy gate, etc. etc. etc."

players will rally around Belichick no question. In my opinion, this helps them in the Super Bowl. That being said, if they can't protect the quarterback they will have some problems. The games they have struggled this season, they could not protect Brady adequately.

Yeah ballgate aside... I think pats need to run to set up pass. GB showed some holes in SEA run D. They are fast but not entirely stout up middle. You still have to respect hawks secondary even with two studs banged up they should still be able to cover. Run game is a must, then get Gronk involved as that seems to be SEA weakness in the passing game against TE's. Gave up 11 TD's to the position which was 2nd or 3rd worst in NFL I believe.
