I tell you one thing, the story lines of this year's NCAA tourney have gone better than many of the games. There have been some compelling games, but for the most part, far from some of the buzzer beaters we saw last year.
To start the Elite Eight, how about Coach vs Former Player 25 years after they made it to the Final Four? Pretty good story line. Slick Rick and Billy the Kid have their respective teams peaking at the right time. I think the difference is the Cards are peaking on defense. Splitino is going to have his team do the exact opposite of what Marquette should have done the other night.
Beal lit it up the other night going 8-10 from the field. I don't see him being able to do that against this Louisville defense. I just don't think the Gayturds have been tested yet in this tourney, and I can't get passed the fact that my Vols beat them twice this year.

I agree with many of Thunder's reasons on this one, but my main reason for this play is simple, Aaron Craft. He is a very good PG, becoming a solid leader, but most importantly IMO - he is the best on-ball defender I have seen in some time. I think he will pressure Scoop and make life miserable for him.
It would be nice to see Buford have a solid game, but Sullinger and Co. can handle it. The way Cuse has won scares me a little, but I think their chances run slim tonite.
