Dan Ellis will be in goal when the Predators take on Ottawa tonight, making his first start since Nov. 2.
Chris Mason will get a breather after making nine consecutive starts.
Ellis enters the game with a 4-0 record, 1.35 goals against average and .952 save percentage. In his last start, he stopped 30 of 31 shots in a victory over Edmonton.
"Over the course of your career, you spend time as a back-up and a starter," Ellis said. "So even though it?s been three or four weeks, you prepare in practice to try and stay in game shape."
