So sad so many gave their lives so this country could exist.......then have their graves spit on.

I certainly don't need to get into another battle over the French, but really the parallel to be drawn here is this...

Lets say we were getting out ass beat by the Canadians and we needed the French to come help, and they didn't come help. Then, one would be justified in criticizing them severely.

To expect them to simply agree with all facets of our foreign policy because we helped them out is silly.

Furthermore, I don't think someone should be so presumptuous to think that our veterans who died in WWII on French soil for a noble cause would necessarily support a first strike towards another country. Especially after they saw first hand what war was like.

As a matter of fact, I find YOUR post rather disrespectful towards our veterans who are buried in France. 50 thousand dead men starting an earthquake because France doesn't support George Bush's war. Classy.

THE INVASION OF CANADA......just funny to think about.

All those mighty mounties charging across the boarder taking out the American defenses.

Ya eh you come grab a hokey stick eh. We are invading America no.

Good point about the disrespect to the dead. The invasion just made me chuckle. :D

"the bunker"
don`t want to get into another debate..

don`t want to get into another debate..

but shrimp, why "george bush`s" war?....would you support it as in bosnia,if clinton were president?...people are using this war issue to bash bush....i`m pretty sure congress goes along if put to a vote....if you don`t like bush,fine...that`s your right....but don`t use it as a smokescreen to vent your political feelings...i drew clinton into a previous debate, and i was wrong...and i`m not sure i go along with the war,or more so,the impending occupation that will surely follow...it will be a mess...but,like the hollywood celebs previously discussed, this is more an opportunity to bash the president...i find it annoying...my last word...not an attack...just trying to point this in the proper direction.....these political issues are getting tiresome...i`m already sorry i chimed in ....i respect your opinion,shrimp....i`ve got things to do...i`ve wasted enough time here today...i`m done.....you`re better off disregarding my comments...i`ve got computer fatigue.......g.l. bud....

I know we're leading this somewhere else, but in a sense, I feel this is Bush's War.

To get beyond that just being a saying.

This is a war that the White House started drumming up support for last summer. They timed it right at the anniversary of 9/11 and have been propagandizing since.

This isn't a war where the American people said, "man, I think something bad is going to happen if we don't do something about Iraq." People are saying that about N. Korea. Few were saying it about Iraq.

Don't you get the feeling that for whatever reason (and maybe that reason is good intelligence or maybe not) the White House tried getting us behind this instead of us getting the White House behind it?

In that sense, I think it's Bush's War. It didn't arise out of a public concern or an international concern. I certainly don't think he's working to AVOID war. Am I the only one who thinks Bush would rather go to war than prevent it?

[and now for something completely off topic...I don't put it past these guys to have increased the fear in this country, with their "Code Orange" and "Department of Homeland Security" and "Duct Tape" and everything else they feed us as part of their propaganda.]

I'm out of here till tomorrow. (seeng the Wiz tonight, and I'm gonna be PISSED if Jordan ain't playing.)

Well if you certainly dont need to get in to another battle....then I suggest you tone it down.

If you dont agree with what it said....fine, I do. There is not one ounce of disrespect towards any veteran in that verse. I didnt write it....but I agree with it.

You run along now to your game, maybe you can find someone sitting beside you and attack their beliefs as well.

Congrats.....you spelled classy correctly, now try to act it.

Try walking up to a few sons and daughters of someone buried in France and saying "I bet your father is rolling over in his grave right now because France disagrees with George Bush".

Try walking up to a widow of one of them and saying that. You think that would be showing her or her husband respect?
