Can anybody tell me why this horse is fading on the betting exchanges? It is 2-1 now. I was thinking it would end up being an even money favourite.

The VERY early money at Churchill downs will always be on whatever Pat Day is riding, reguardless of the horses actual chance of winning. When the public saw this the immediatly thought that Empire Maker must be hurt and are looking elswhere. I think he is beatable and may miss the board completely, but that should explain the early numbers, closer to post time he will be 2-1 or 8-5.
