:mj07::mj07::mj07: I love it..there were so many times in my coaching career I felt just like Hinson...you play bad..you look at the stat sheet and it gets worse...most of what he said should of been done in the locker room to his players...hopefully he said those things to his team first and then went outside for the press conference.......SIU had all sorts of problems before he arrived.....think this is his 2nd or 3rd year.....I'm sure there are 100's of college coaches who every nite feel the same way...just not in a press conf...I loved his wife's line..not sure if he is going to get in trouble with his Adm...but he has to reestablish a respect with his team.....I remember John Cheney the former Temple coach telling a story about his team....his teams always played a 2-3 zone...but on this day they had to go man/man....a player on the other team goes uncontested for a layup 2 times...nobody is guarding him...Cheney is going nuts..again the player scores and Cheney is yelling "who has 14"....finally after a timeout in the huddle Cheney is screaming....but then he says...my grandmother has been blind for 30 years....and she knows where the sugar is in the cupboard"...Who the F..has 14"...:mj07:
I can sympathize with Hinson's frustration...maybe not the right way to do but t it was funny..
