if i only had a brain, i'd be patient and wait for some juicy games on thursday and friday. finished the regular season at 60% (59.8% for you nitpickers), which is what i normally shoot for. not bad after the crappy start i had. and that f--king 3-point heave at the end of the ohio state/illinois game is the only thing that kept me from being over 60%. that was just one final slap in the face from the gambling gods. well, i hope it was the final one. IT'S TOURNEY TIME!! one unit each.

morehead state (-2.5) c'mon, how can i pass up morehead? no way. obviously this is an oversimplification, but i've done ok on the play-in game just playing the team with the worse record.

george mason/penn state under (123) dammit, now i'm going to feel compelled to watch this game. 2 teams that play a fairly deliberate style. hopefully penn state really does have a chip on their shoulder, so they'll play some defense.

st mary's (-4) st mary's got completely jobbed by the ncaa committee. of course, you never know if they'll take the attitude of 'let's take it out on the next opponent' or 'f--k this sh!t, who cares about the nit?'. based purely on the numbers though, this line is a few points high, which tells me vegas expects them to play well.

northeastern (+2.5) everybody is on wyoming... so i'm on northeastern. nothing complicated about that.

a definite lean to niagara and the over in that game, but i can't quite pull the trigger.

yeah, morris, that was a tough one to swallow. it was a decent-sized play for me. i've been on a good run, and i haven't lost one like that in a while. in fact, things have been going so well, i wasn't even worried about it going in. how foolish of me. well, hopefully it's not a sign of things to come. the first weekend of the tournament has always been pretty good for me; i'd like that to continue.
