Looking at the ATL/TOR game, noticed the following RECENT TRENDS.
ATL is 8-2 in their last 10 games overall.
The Braves are 5-0 in Burkett's last five starts overall.
The over is 7-0 in Burkett's last seven road starts.
After a loss, TOR is 12-4 in game one of a series overall.
The Jays are 3-7 in their last 10 games overall.
The Jays are 2-5 in Michalak's last seven starts overall.
DO NOT be misled by the 3rd trend:
ATLANTA IS 7-0 OVER in Burkett's last 7 road starts...
This simply is not CLOSE to being true. IN FACT, the last three have all been UNDER, including TWO SHUTOUTS, and a TOTAL OF 11 RUNS COMBINED!!!
BURKETT has been nearly unhittable on the road, giving up a mere 12 hits in 21.2 innings and allowing only one earned run.
