Going to give the old contrarian angle a play for a while and see where it takes me. For those who don't know, basically you are picking against the public; if a large percentage of pickers likes team A in a game, then i bet on team B. I'm going to use two sources, Espn's contest where you pick games against spread, and the site that has wager in its name. (pretty sure i can't post it here). I am going to bet 1 unit each on the 3 least picked teams at both sites, betting 1.5 units on the least picked team.

Last week went 2-1, + 1.75 units, winning for the third week in a row. (3 for 3, as i started week 3) Got lucky on the bears, as the packers pretty much gave the game away, but unlucky on the jets, who gave the game away themselves, so i guess it all evens out.

Week 6 Games:

ESPN- Atlanta 15.9%, Jets 23.4%, Miami 24.3%

Wager****- Atlanta 25%, Jets 30.9%, Kansas City 31%

This weeks bets.....

For the 4th week in a row the atlanta falcons are the least picked team; The public really hates this team, but they have covered 2 of last 3.

Atlanta +3.5 3 units
NY jets +4 2 units
K. City +3 1 unit
Miami +4 1 unit

YTD Record

6-4
2-2 top plays
+3.15 units

ESPN Record

6-3
2-1 top plays
+3.15 units

Wager**** Record

5-4
1-2 top plays
0 units
