Cleveland Indians
-130
to beat Chicago WS

The Indians are streaking and their #2 pitcher tonight who is throwing very good lately is taking the mound. Cliff Lee has only allowed 7 runs in his last 25 innings pitched. Diaz is young and with CLE not seeing him yet, that could be an advantage for him but I don't think this is a good line up for him to be facing in his second start. The CLE bats are red hot and have scored 64 runs their last 8 games  This is the wrong time for Diaz to see the Indians. Lee pitching good and CLE bats hitting great. 13/10 is definitely reasonable.

I really like the over in this game of 9 or 9.5 but I do not understand why it is so low which scares me. Like you said, the Indians have scored 64 runs in their last 8 games and are a very good hitting team. The Whitesox hit lefties very well and if Cleveland has to go to their bullpen then this game will have a football score. Diaz is making his second major league apperance and he gave up 4 homeruns in his debut. The winds are blowing out and the weather is supposed to be nice, so why the low line? I just have a wierd feeling about this b/c I see this game going way over. What do you think?

I agree

I agree

Over is the only way I would go in the White Sox game, but I am laying off of the total until I get a feel for the series. I like Cleveland at the -130 price with the way their bats are swinging and how Lee has been pitching. The only thing that scares me is the Indian's bullpen. :(

Don't forget that although the Sox record isn't the greatest against lefties...Konerko, Thomas, Maggs and Crede all thrive off them.
