Well again I am powering up on the caffeine to get through another wonderful night shift so I am going to grab all of the information I can get on every game I can get and exploit to find the best possible play for the end of the week.

I will start in order of time to get the earliest games done in case I have to do some work and cannot finish.

Game One Iowa St @ Kansas
Line Opened: Kansas ?21.5 / Current : Kansas ?21 (all lines are from Don Best)
Consensus: Kansas 64/43 59%

Threads: Stewy has already started a thread on this game:

The call would have to be Kansas as they have caught a nice groove winning five in a row but are not quite satisfied as of yet. Kansas, hoping to win its 16th straight regular-season Big 12 home game and extend its current win streak to six games, returns home from a two-game road swing to host the Iowa State Cyclones on Sunday, Feb. 16 in Allen Fieldhouse (12:00 p.m./ESPN+).
The Jayhawks (18-5 overall, 8-1 Big 12) have won five straight games and 15 of their last 17, despite playing their last 11 contests without starting forward Wayne Simien, who has been recovering from a dislocated right shoulder. KU is fresh off back-to-back road wins, beating Kansas State on Feb. 8 then downing the Baylor Bears, 79-58, on Tuesday night in Waco.
The Cyclones (12-8 overall, 2-7 Big 12) have dropped two straight and seven of their last nine, as they have struggled in league play despite jumping out to a 10-1 record in non-conference action. ISU is coming off an 88-73 loss to Texas Tech on Wednesday night in Hilton Coliseum.
Sunday's meeting will be the 211th all-time between Kansas and Iowa State, with the Jayhawks holding a 154-56 series lead.
Iowa State is 12-8 overall and 2-7 in the Big 12... The Cyclones have lost two straight games and seven of their last nine, despite opening the year with a 10-1 record in non-conference play... Jake Sullivan leads ISU with 18.3 points per game on 48.6 percent shooting from the floor and 46.2 percent from beyond the arc... Jackson Vroman chips in with 12.3 points and a team-high 8.6 rebounds per game... Tim Barnes paces the squad with 5.3 assists per contest... Iowa State scores 72.0 points per game on 46.9 percent shooting, while out-rebounding its opponents by an average of 5.8 boards per contest.

My early concerns would be that the cyclones can rebound and are 8-3 in the last 11and are 4-1 in the last 5 at Kansas (all numbers are ATS)

Digit Display

Kansas is:
17-7 as a home favorite of 12.5 or more
5-2 off a win against a conference rival
3-1 in February

Iowa St is:
0-3 in February
4-8 when playing against a team with a winning record
2-6 as an underdog

Small play on the Jayhawks ?21 Gulp!

Game 2

Game 2

Game Two: Richmond @ GW
Line Opened: Spiders -2 / Current: Spiders ?2.5
Consensus: GW 52/47 52%

The last two games these teams played were close being decided by 4 and six points and in both games the underdog covered.

This one was going to be off the radar for me and it still maybe but I will check out the Spiders before the tip. The spiders have had problems with offense but good for them that they are playing GW who plays bad defense. This comes after their last loss, they?re third in a row, against UMASS: "I just tried to explain to [the Spiders] in the locker room what snakebit is," UR coach Jerry Wainwright said afterward. Richmond isn't coming close on shots it consistently hit earlier this season. The snake bit hard. UR converted 27.3 percent (18.5 percent in the first half), and missed 22 of 28 attempts from 3-point range.
Patrick O'Malley's 3-pointer at the horn got Richmond as close to the Minutemen (3-7, 9-14) as it had been in about eight minutes. UMass went ahead 36-16 with 16:49 left. The score was tied at 43 with 8:39 remaining. UR's rally was all about hitting the offensive glass (Johnathan Collins), hitting a few jumpers (Jeff Myers) and hitting UMass with disruptive defense (Tony Dobbins).
But after tying it at 43, the Spiders fell back into their offensive gutter, going nearly eight minutes without a hoop. The young Minutemen, who lost to Central Connecticut State and Lafayette, regained their poise and put away UR from the free-throw line in the final two minutes.
"We've got to snap out of this and be mentally tougher than we are right now," said Myers, who scored 12 of his 15 points in a five-minute stretch of the second half.
Dobbins tied a school record with eight steals, cleared 14 rebounds, and scored 15. "I think he's the [A-10] defensive player of the year," said Steve Lappas, the second-year UMass coach.
But as usual, defense was the not UR's problem. It's lost three in a row despite holding opponents to 66, 61 and 54 points.
In last Saturday's loss to St. Bonaventure at the Robins Center, UR scored 19 first-half points. Before last night's intermission, Richmond made one more bucket (five) than the number of media timeouts (four).
"What happens when certain kids aren't going well is [defenders] leave certain kids open and they press up on other kids," Wainwright said.
Spiders forward Mike Skrocki, who came north as UR's top scorer (12.8 ppg), hit a jumper 30 seconds after the tipoff, then missed his next 16 shots. Some were contested. Many were not.
"We've got to find ways to get him some easy baskets to get him going," Dobbins said of Skrocki.

Key Number The spiders are 6-1 after failing to cover the number in three consecutive games. Richmond is also 3-1 in the last four games and with this teeny line they would have to be the play?. stay tuned.

Game Three

Game Three

Game Three: N. Iowa @ Evansville
Line Opened: Evansville ?7 Current: Evansville -6
Consensus: 50/50 50%

Now this one I like, the Aces lost to N. Iowa already and will be looking for blood and should get it the numbers are right. (have 2x revenge) The Aces are 8-3 in the last 11 and 4-1 in the last 5 at Evansville. Evansville leads 15-6. After running off eight straight wins over the Panthers, Evansville has lost the last two-in the MVC Tournament last March and at Cedar Falls on Feb. 1, 63-61. This win is also important for three reasons as it will guarantee them a winning record at home and will give them an edge on a bye in the tournament. Finishing sixth or better in the Valley regular season race means avoiding the Friday, March 7 first round games of the MVC Tournament. The seventh through 10th place teams play in the first round, and those winners will most likely have to face nationally ranked Creighton and Southern Illinois in the March 8 quarterfinals. Lastly they need to win one for the gipper: Steve Merfeld takes a 99-69-career record into Sunday's game. His first shot at #100 came Monday at Wichita State, but the Aces fell short 89-84 despite making two strong second half runs against the Shockers. This is Merfeld's first year at Evansville following five seasons at Hampton University.

Number crunching:
Aces:
2-0 as a home favorite of 6.5 to 9 points
5-2 off a loss to a conference rival

Monday?s First Bank Deposit: Evansville ?6.5

I like that Evansville..they shoot over 50% at home and rain the 3's. I see Evansville knocked off Creighton at home. I had Evansville that nite. they are just coming back from a 5 point loss at Wichita and that's not a disgrace afterall Evansville covered and Wichita has been quietly winning some games at home.

You are right about that Manhattan Game. They beat Iona by 5 back in December but i believe that game was at Madison Square Garden. " IT STINKY " to me too!

good luck all :D
