This is just observation and hopefully we can discuss..but is the forward pass now the essential tool to winning playoff games?

I dont remember a year with so many teams who cannot run the ball...this time of year if you cannot run the rock it usually means good bye...but the NFC someone has to win I suppose...

Looking at the 12 teams who do not have a running game:

NFC TEAMS WHO CANNOT RUN
Seattle
Detroit
Green Bay
NYG

NFC TEAMS WHO CAN POUND THE ROCK
Atlanta
Dallas

AFC TEAMS WHO CANNOT RUN THE BALL
Houston (miller health)

AFC TEAMS WHO CAN POUND THE ROCK
Pittsburgh
New England
Kansas city
Oakland
Miami

So the AFC seems to be more towards the status quo...ALTHOUGH only 2 of the AFC teams id consider having an elite running unit.....pitt and new England

But the NFC? Oh my goodness ...im not talking teams who dont have average run games...i mean the 3-6 seeds have terrible running games

Which running game would you take if you had to pick one in the NFC wildcard rd?

Great question. The Lions are historically bad and IMO the worst of the bunch.

I'd have to go with Seattle because they actually have guys capable of doing something where as the NYG, GB, and DET just simply don't have the horses to do it. Like I could see a SEA RB having a good game. I just don't see that at all with the other 3.

Yea id probably lean seattle or Nyg...

Jennings and his rookie counterpart I think are halfway capable...and Green Bay can be vulnerable to the run

It just suprises me with so many bad runninh teams
