I'm not saying this horse is going to win the Preakness, but I do believe he is the "flying under the radar, likely to be underbet horse" at Pimlico. He finished 5th in the Derby, less than 3 behind Atswhatimtalkinabout. But it wasn't a clunk-up 5th. He was in 4th tracking a fast pace and was 4 wide on the 1st turn. Then as Brancusi was starting to tire on the far turn, Brancusi bumped him. Enough to cost him the race? Doubtful. Could he have been closer at the finish and did the top 3 horses all have better trips? Absolutely. Did anyone mention him out-running his odds? No. How good is he? He's pretty lightly raced so we really don't know. Hollendorfer is an excellent horseman so we know he's in good hands. I think he'll be over 15-1 at Pimlico and could possibly get in either the 2nd or 3rd slots in the trifecta.
