It would be interesting to do a test for both psychopathy and sociopathy between these two professions. I suspect that different personalities would be attracted differently. Might, for some, be a quest for power and domination, to desire the badge. Serving militarily will require obedience and discipline. I don't see any cop as being representative of my society, but rather as a stranger with a gun.
