Five times F1 World Champion Michael Schumacher has admitted that he can't wait for this weekend's Brazilian Grand Prix, and particularly to have a chance to score Ferraris first win of 2003.
"After the first two races where we were a little bit unlucky, I can't wait for the third Championship race to start," said the German, yesterday while waiting to board a flight to Brazil. "Interlagos is a circuit I like very much because it is technically demanding and the races are often tough ones.

"This is because the track is physically testing because it is run anti-clockwise, unusual in Formula 1, and also the surface is uneven in some spots and so the car has a precarious grip at times."

The track requires effort both on the part of the driver and the car. It has many curves and so the lateral forces are really felt. "You are constantly correcting the line," confirmed Michael, "and this makes the race exciting.

"In our F2002 we have a really reliable car, a crucial factor in a race like Brazil. We also have another advantage: the fact that, in Rubens [Barrichello], we have a Brazilian driver on the team and this will guarantee the support of the fans."

"I have great memories of racing in San Paolo," concluded Schumacher, before admitting, "and I am nervously waiting for the next challenge. In any case, we will fight for victory and start with the opinion that we have every chance of achieving this."
