What hedge didn't reveal is that the poll was limited to elderly southern whites with less than six years of school and fewer than three teeth.

I'd like to check your source on this one. Those numbers certainly don't jive with what a random polling would return. Please post the link. Without it, I'll have to assume you changed the numbers to fit your agenda.
