A few buddies and I are making our Christmas trip to the OTB on Saturday. It's mostly about the beer, but I'm hoping I've got some winners here....
FAIR GROUNDS
R5 - #6 EDAMAME 5/1 - she's only seen Canadian breds, so this is a tougher bunch, but even a small improvement will make her competitive
R6 - #4 MUTADDA 6/1 - Amoss/Leparoux 5/10 together at the meet - this guy has been off since the end of June, but shows a very steady work pattern and Amoss hits at 36% with runners off this type of lay off
R7 - #10 MISTY LADY 10/1 - won by 5 on a heavy track last out at Churchill - 3rd start in North America for Asmussen
R8 - #2 JIMMY SIMMS 7/2 - this guy seems to have taken a real liking to the turf while the others in here are mainly inexperienced on the surface, including Macho Again who figures to take the lion's share of the money in this one.
