FALCONS/STEELERS Over 42.5 (Sunday) - The Falcons have actually been more proficient offensively on the road than at home this season, averaging 29.3 points on 377.7 total yards of offense away from home. The last time that they traveled, they came away with a wild 37-35 victory at New Orleans. Michael Vick should provide some problems for a Pittsburgh defense that, while still solid, is simply not as dominant as in recent seasons. The Steelers have responded extremely well with Tommy Maddox at the helm, as last week?s 23 points were the fewest points they have scored in his 5 starts. They are averaging 29 points in all of his starts, and I see no reason whey they can?t have continued success vs. what I feel has been an over-achieving Atlanta defense to this point.

I'd re-think that over. They showed a clip of the Temple/Pitt game played today at Heinz Field and the field looked really, really tore up. I think speed will be completely neutralized and whoever smash-mouths better (probably Pittsburgh) will win a low scoring game.

In addition to the torn up field conditions, heavy rain is expected during the game, all day in fact.

Now that is some prime information.

Good Job.

Problem is can the Steelers play smash mouth football without Jerome Bettis? TJ Duckett is hurt for ATL so I dunno if the Falcons can play smash mouth either...

who to pick...hmm

Eugene-

Nice call on the over. The field was in terrible shape like I hoped but Pitt appears to have completely abandonded the run. Amazing how a 3-0 game after 1 quarter can get almost 70 pts on the board.
