Kick I know it's the wrong thread.

I've avoided asking fantasy questions here all year but I need suggestions badly...and this place never disappoints....

I am in other leagues and like to think I know enough to make simple decisions, but this leagues choices are always stressful with the bigger payout involved...I often times find myself from the outside looking in so do not want to "Steve Harvey" this, and choose the wrong person

Let me preface the remaining text by stating if you are NOT a fantasy fan, you probably shouldn't waste your time reading this nonsense that I now allow to consume my entire sundays as well as plenty of hours weekly...

$500 entry fee.
1st- 3000
2nd- 1500
3rd- 500

Non ppr league

Semi finals this week
Finals week 17

I finished 1st regular season luckily, which gets me 1st Rd bye (week 15), plus all of the transaction fees collected, which are $3 per move after 1 free move weekly

My most started lineup:

Qb- Brady
Wr- Calvin J
Wr- A Jeffrey
Rb- A Peterson
Rb- charcandrick west (lost Charles early)
Te- G Olsen
Flex- Allen Robinson
Def- Kansas City
K- seabass janikowski
D- Sean Lee

Bench- Jeremy hill
Bench- Tim Hightower
Bench- Denard Robinson
Bench- rueben Randle
Bench- Spencer ware
Bench- Christine Michael
Bench- Houston defense

That's my usual lineup up above....traded for AP after Charles injury....I try starting the same lineup every week but this week of course, the injuries are piling up.

Any opinions are not only welcome, but much appreciated

QB- Brady has to play

WR- Allen Robinson vs saints no brainer.....Jeffrey status doubtful...takes him out....so Calvin who has been injured and terrible or rueben Randle vs a beatable secondary when ODB is out of lineup? Leaning robinson/Randle

RB: AP no brainer.....then it's tough......Hightower high volume guy vs jags at home on turf...Denard vs saints on road vs WORST RUN DEF IN LEAGUE....charcandrick I loved but spencer ware back to steal at minimum short yardage/goal line....Jeremy hill I can't really consider at this point...

TE- Olsen no brainer

FLEX: this is tough part....if I go randle/arob and AP/West.....I have denard/hightower/Calvin to choose from.....I'm leaning hightower....Calvin just not dependable right now....minimal targets vs hightower and denard who have a legit shot at 15-20+ touches....or sleeper Christine Michael vs a vulnerable St Louis run defense?

K- seabass already got me 9 points

DEF- this may be biggest decision....Defensive points can make or break a week....KC been dominant lately but J. Houston possibly out and Hali dinged up vs Johnny football who's desperate to perform.....OR I can go Houston defense vs Tennessee on the road....Houston is loaded with talent on defensive side....and my opponent has JJ Watt so if he goes crazy which he could, it will help lessen the blow....
TENN gives up the SINGLE MOST fantasy points to opposing defenses while CLE gives up the 2ND MOST fantasy points to opposing defenses....so is KC home field the decider?

D- Sean Lee for now but had poslusny- didn't want 4 guys potentially from jags/saints game on team...

Anyone think I'm missing something or am making mistakes somewhere please let me know

TIA and merry xmas

Coach Tom Coughlin named Rueben Randle first when asked whom the Giants will look to for big plays in the absence of Odell Beckham.

"Rueben comes to mind," said Coughlin. Averaging six targets per game this season, beat writer Jordan Raanan anticipates Randle drawing "nine or more" on Sunday Night Football against the Vikings. It's a big opportunity for Randle on national TV with two regular season games left in his contract year.

I think you are making the right calls Addict. I am pretty damn solid at fantasy and have won many FF Championships, much better than my capping by the way, LOL

I completely agree the flex, defense and Calvin or Randle are the toughest calls you have to make.

Flex, I would give Hightower a very slight edge of Dennard but I could definitely see going with Dennard.

Defense, you gotta go with KC at home against Manziel and the Browns. The Texans have been solid but the Chiefs have been dominant lately. I am going with the Chiefs over the Panthers defense this week in m fantasy championship game.

Other than the Eagles game (3 TDs), Calvin has been average or below average. Without Beckham, the Giants have to lean on Randle in this game.

Good Luck!

I am starting Diggs over Calvin in a league where the championship is this week.

Calvin is too inconsistent and is too often a decoy to risk starting him in my opinion.

Can't trust Calvin at this stage. A-Rob and Randle definitely. Flex, hmmm. I like Hightower, but when Brees starts throwing, he becomes an afterthought. I have the same 2 RBs, and personally I'm going with Robinson instead of Hightower. You have an awesome lineup and should win this going away.
My league is $250 buy-in with
1st-1250
2nd- 750
So being in the finals I qualify for one of em, and I sympathize with the stress of fantasy final!! Best of luck, let's do this.:00x1:0031:0071x34:

Cruising thx man

You wouldn't be worried about having 2 jags on ur lineup card?

I like bores but they can still lay eggs and look rough....2 years from now jags will be in the picture for afc playoffs

But this year I don't think

Ahhhhh

Opponent projected lineup

Big Ben
AB
Watkins
David Johnson
Bilal Powell
Gronk
Maclin
Gostowski
Minny defense
Jj watt

I am praying Ellington steal 10-12 touches being back and Arians throws all day.....cause Johnson is going to be a stud....need Revis to cover gronk....or hell even Cromartie

Ben and AB vs the Ravens.....fuckin perfect haha

Jack's prediction has them scoring 40+ so that will poll be the game with most importance.....need DWill to run wild and make it a ground game

I think Watkins gets limited with Dallas defense. Tough matchup with Ben/Brown. If Jets are smart, they double team Gronk, with no Amendola/Edelman. Fells has disappointed.
I think against the inept N.O. defense, the 2 Robinsons are a good play. Don't see why Minny Defense doesn't focus on Randle with no OBJ, I have him in another league, but don't expect much. You just have to hope Ben/Brown have a mediocre game, that's probably your biggest hurdle.

Looks like the top two go at it in your league. As maddening as it is, the excitement of winning is at an all-time high in your matchup!!! Come back to this thread and let us know what happened. Hope all the plays go your way.:0074

Absolutely and I say go with it if you feel that strong. I rarely follow site projections or ESPN rankings. I sometimes look at them as a guide but I do prefer to go with my gut feeling. If I am wrong, at least I went with that I felt.

Good Luck!

Yeah but that means Randle will be on Xavier Rhodes, he has been shut down corner for about 2 years, he gets a lot of penalties but they don't throw his way, maybe they will try to get him on Newman the other Corner. I'm expecting a big performance from Vikea defense tomorrow with the big 3 back!

Should have went with my gut and played Houston defense

Shit

Damn. I thought you were going with the Houston D. Looks like picking up and playing Kirk Cousins against my terrible Eagles, starting Frank Gore and the usual Julio Jones and David Johnson are going to carry me to victory.

Who did you end up going with at flex? Hightower over Dennard?

Hightower

I am Up 109.84 - 85.50

Have AP and Ruben Randle

He has minny D

Our defenses are mostly standard scoring but few extra stats added in for 1 point each

Great week defense will get 30
Average defensive week 15-20

I feel good where im at but have seen crazier things
