Well....just like many of you I had Tom Brady. I picked up Cassell right away when I saw Brady go down. My back up was Marc Bulger....I know! Don't laugh.

So, my question is who do I start this week? Can Cassell go into NY and score some good fantasy points? Can Bulger bounce back at home against the Giants defense?? I'm kinda leaning towards Cassell right now, but I just don't like this first situation for him on the road. He played well last week, but coming in unexpectedly is a way different thing than "knowing" you're the starting QB and mentally preparing for a game.

I need some Madjackers expertise on this one.....thanks!

i would go with bulger at home. i expect a bounce back after the road opener, and giants secondary will give up some passing yards.

i expect a simplified O gameplan from NE this week, and jets will bring a lot of pressure. i expect to see a pick or two from him as well.

just my two cents...

could be worse, the guy who had brady in my league, had v. young as his back up.

good luck whatever you do.

The guy in my league had Brady and Young as well. I would take a chance with Cassel though imo. Hell, its only for a week to find out if he is good or not.

Sexlexia...
A (if not that relevant! :142smilie ) story...

...I traded McNabb and Addia to the guy who had Brady in my league, for Thomas Jones and Earnest Graham.

I needed RB depth, with Kitna and Anderson at QB...I'm happy at least! :)

er...Bulger. :toast:

Bulger is the play. At home, indoors, at least you know you'll get something. Cassell is too much of a question mark in my opinion.

Anything on the waiver wire worth picking up?

There is nothing on the waiver wire at all but garbage. Jeff Garcia was available, but last I saw he was ?.

Bulger is the play for now! Thanks for the input guys...I do see NE having a conservative gameplan as well and running the ball will be a lot of it.

Hey Blackman...you seem to be a Philly fan. Is Reggie Brown playing on Monday night??? I know he is ? as of now, but do you have any insight? I need to know if I should start him or not by the morning....

Cutler! He's gonna have a BIG season! He's also getting his #1 target back in Marshall. If Eddie Royal can be a consistant rookie the threesome of Cutler/Marshall/Royal are going to score many fantasy points!

Favre wouldn't be a bad choice either, but I see NE's defense playing well.

Reggie is listed as doubtful for the game. We particpated in the walk-through, but did not run much. I doubt he will play. At the rate he is going, Curtis may be back in the lineup before him.
