Fatasy Baseball: beginer

I was thinking of signing up for fatasy baseball this season. Since I am an avid baseball fan I think it would be fun. Can some one offer some tips and a brief synopsis of how it works. I get the general idea basically, but a few pointers for some of you guys would help. Also where to play and how you win $$ of course. Thanks for any help, it is much appreciated.
