Reminder of 2009 so far when chalk ran wild from Sweet 16 forward. I went 3-1 with Ducks, KU, and OU winning for me and Miami losing ATS... Go Squares! Didn't post due to lack of time. Playing early game now, as I see this line going down.

Iowa State +6 at -120 odds for 8* - Cyclone fans will travel and Chicago is just a 5 hour drive. Iowa St is also a veteran club and they can shoot the lights out. Think 6 would be too much! Who after Brogdon is anything special? Watched a lot of UVA hoops and they have a nice club, but winning by 7+? I will take my chances with the Cyclones!

Finalized Sweet 16 Plays for Friday...

Iowa State +7 (-125) for 10* - Really, really lover this play. UVA is great and their defense is smothering, but Iowa State can really stroke the treys and think they might pull off the SU win. UVA 70-67

Syracuse +5 (-115) for 8* - I appreciate Gonzaga looked awesome last week, but this is a new week and I think they might struggle a little again the zone of Syracuse. Besides, knowone thought Syracuse should even be in the Big Dance so why not make the Elite 8 or even Final 4 similar to what VCU did when Bilas dogged them. Cuse 68-66

Indiana +6 (-125) for 8* - Tough going against UNC based on their front court vs the Hoosiers front court... however, this should be a close game IMHO as Indiana was your regular season Big 10 champs and they looked solid against a good Kentucky team. Hoping for another great game and really want to see Tom Crean take down Roy the Choir Boy. UNC 77-74

Notre Dame -1.5 for 8* - Whole world seems to be on the Irish, but still think they are the right side. I watched Wisconsin against Pitt and they were very lucky to win that game. Nigel has been in a horrible shooting slump and not sure he breaks out tonight. ND 66-61

Well 2-2 night... didn't expect Iowa State to play like Idiots Out Wondering Around State, but they sure did opening down 17-3 and did cut the lead to 7 a couple times, but were never in the game. UVA was way too physically tough in the paint and the 4th foul on Niang was complete crap when he blocked the guy's shot and was still whistled. Personally, think they should allow a guy to play after 5th foul, but he fouls after 5th, it's a Technical! :0008

Got very lucky on Notre Dame and fairly lucky on Cuse so well quit complaining. If UNC wants to play like they did tonight, think they win the title. They could beat the Sixers tonight for sure and don't tell me the crap about Sixers would be a 15 point favorite, etc. When Paige can't miss a trey and they are playing this well, Sixers won't win in Chapel Hill. Sixers don't even care and UNC looked awesome tonight, at least offensively.

By the way, had any team ever outscored another 8-0 in last 20 seconds like ND tonight after losing by 3? That was so lucky it's scary if you had ND. Would rather be lucky than good any time!

Dude, ur nutso. The 76ers would crush the Heels. UNC played a good game against an overrated Indiana team but they wouldn't beat a pro team.
